"You'll play basketball my way. My way is hard." In 1966, coach Don Haskins (Josh Lucas) took the first all-black line-up for a basketball team to the NCAA national championship. "Glory Road", another one of the many in the genre from Disney, offers the expected: uplifting moments, ambitious characters, underdogs, racial tension, and a winning basketball team. The most noteworthy flaw with the film is the lack of character development; audiences are never given the opportunity to care for the unique characters. We just see young guys on the court, and it's unlikely all of their names will be remembered. Women: What Men Want to See in Your Profile
Expert Flirting Tips The cast includes Josh Lucas ("Stealth", "Sweet Home Alabama"), in the finest performance of his career, Derek Luke ("Friday Night Lights", "Antwone Fisher"), Jon Voight ("National Treasure", "Ali"), Emily Deschanel ("Boogeyman", "Spider-Man 2"), and Evan Jones ("8 Mile"). "Glory Road" will be enjoyed by fans of the genre, especially those who loved "Coach Carter", "Miracle", "Hoosiers", "Remember the Titans", and "Friday Night Lights".
