Insurance agent Reuben Feffer (Ben Stiller) avoids any activity or street that promotes some kind of risk of injury or death. This is all about to change after his wife Lisa (Debra Messing), on their honeymoon, cheats on him, and when Reuben starts chasing after carefree risk taking Polly Prince (Jennifer Aniston).
"Along Came Polly", from the pen of John Hamburg (co-writer of "Meet the Parents", "Zoolander"), comes a grossed-out comedy that promotes more head turning than it does generate laughs. The romantic chemistry between the leads or lack thereof, generates no tender moments usually found in the Romantic Comedy genre, and the laughs are delivered via the crude department and its eccentric scene stealing characters; played by Alec Baldwin, Bryan Brown, and Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Funnyman Ben Stiller, having starred in several audience drawing comedies in the past few years, still seems unstoppable despite the obvious numerous flaws in his latest "Along Came Polly". Stiller's films include "Zero Effect", "There's Something About Mary", "Mystery Men", "Meet the Parents", "Zoolander", "The Royal Tenenbaums", "Duplex", "Starsky & Hutch", and "Envy". "Friends" Rachel Green the lovely Jennifer Aniston, currently Mrs. Brad Pitt, may only seem to share playful chemistry with her co-star Ben Stiller, but even so, the highly energized actress still manages to entertain us with those expressive outbursts and charming onscreen charisma. Aniston's films include "Picture Perfect", "The Object of My Affection", "Office Space", "Rock Star", "The Good Girl", and "Bruce Almighty".
